Patrizia Falcone-Fàvaro, after graduating in classical studies, enrolled and graduated in law from the University of Pisa with a thesis in Public Economic Law entitled The International Powers of the Governor of the Bank of Italy. She began her theatrical career in 1979, studying the Strasberg and Stanislavsky methods, the use of the Mask in the Commedia dell’Arte first with Franco Mole, subsequently with Massimo Gritti. With Joe Fontano (pupil of Martha Graham) she specialized in theatrical expression and movement. With Tonino Conte of the Teatro della Tosse in Genoa she deepened the study of the relationship between text, dramaturgy, and staging.

Among the works she has interpreted: Doll House by Ibsen, Emma B. widow Giocasta by A. Savinio, Stroligut by P. P. Pasolini, staged at the Teatro dell’Orologio in Rome. She interpreted and directed Elena Chi? by G. Ritzos, Tabaccheria by F. Pessoa, De Planctu Dominae by Iacopone da Todi, L’Altra America by various Latin American authors.

Since 1987 she has flanked her acting activities with an emphasis on directing and teaching. In 1994 she founded a cultural association and her own theatrical workshop in Pisa (LesiLusi Cultural Association). She was a teacher in the Canovaccio and Agora’ theatrical laboratories, and from 2005 to 2015 she was director of the theatrical laboratory and company Labnues.

A number of her productions have achieved recognition at the European level: her staging of works by Ionesco, cited for several years on the permanent site ionesco.org in Paris; San Juan by Max Aub, whose dramatic adaptation is described in the Spanish edition of this work (Editorial Pre-Textos of Barcelona, ​​ISBN 978-84-8472-121-3); De Planctu Dominae by Iacopone da Todi on whose dramaturgical adaptation and direction articles have been written in specialized classic literature magazines such as Medieval Archives and Maia. In 2010 she edited the preface of Sincronia, a set of poems by the sisters Edvige and Luisa Sordillo, ed. Happy Colle.

In addition to her theatrical activities, she works as a communication consultant, giving courses in interpretative reading, diction, and communication aimed at professionals outside the theater (e.g. teachers and industrial managers). An example was her collaboration with the International Center for Information Management, Systems and Services (University of Torun) in Poland and the presentation of the Agile Theater, on which she published an article in the magazine Computer Programming and presented at the Fifth International Conference on Extreme Programming and Agile Processes in Software Engineering held in Garmisch (Germany) in June 2004. In 2009 she was among the teachers of the European Union International Project “COMENIUS”, directing an internship with the theme Second Life and Real Life. In the area of innovation management, she co-authored an article entitled The Creative Essence of Cultural Innovation in the international magazine Uncommon Culture ISSN: 2082-6923 Vol. 6, no. 2 (2015); Creative Digital.

In her activities with non-profit organizations, she was engaged for two years in an association for disabled children (DINSIUNEMAN), whereas in 2003 she began a long-term engagement with UNICEF. From December 2010 to June 2018 she was President of the UNICEF Committee of the Province of Pisa for which she also planned cultural events and projects that make use of theatrical techniques for the divulgation of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. Among the projects she conceived and coordinated: in 2003 the project “The Rights from a Textbook” created with the Toniolo Middle School of Pisa and ended with the performance Sotto l’Albero (freely inspired by the novel by N. Ammaniti I am not afraid); in 2004 the “Laboratories of Rights” project carried out with the Russoli Institute of Art in Pisa and ended with the production Vite di Vetro; in 2005 she curated the photographic exhibition for the 30th anniversary of UNICEF Italy entitled “The future in the eyes” (invisible rights in Italy and beyond) organized at the Limonaia in Pisa from 23 to 30 April, and which hosted meetings with schools, conferences, concerts, and a charity dinner; in 2009 she curated and coordinated at the Leopolda Station in Pisa the conference held from 20 November to 5 December “The Convention is 20 Years Old” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, and hosting a photographic and pictorial exhibition and several installations. The program also included workshops and meetings for schools, afternoon conferences and evening performances with fundraising for UNICEF emergency projects. Between November 2012 and May 2013, she curated a series of three seminars on parenting within various child age groups (0-6 years) (6-12 years) (12-18 years). The entire project was organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Pisa.
